Class 2 Digital Certificate

Description

A Class 2 digital certificate is an electronic signature. We use it to sign digital documents. It is a general-purpose signing device. This certificate is acceptable in all Indian government portals. For example,e Income Tax, GST, MCA, limited tender sites, Traces, Trademark websites, etc.

Currently, this certificate is not in use. The class 3 certificate takes the place of this certificate. However, if you have a valid Class 2 certificate, then it will continue to work till its last date. Therefore, for all new orders of this certificate, we will issue Class 3 certificates only.

Types of Class 2 digital certificate.

Class 2 certificates are available in three variants, namely Signature, Encryption and Sign+Encrypt. Again, all these certificates can be taken up to 3 years of validity. Once the validity expires, you need to renew it. Both Individual and organisational users can apply for this certificate.

Class 2 digital certificate application process.

• Now make a payment of the fee and complete the order.
• Within a few minutes, a verification link will be sent.
• Complete email and mobile verification.

• Finally, record the applicant’s video and wait for approval.
• Boom!! Now, the DSC is ready to download. Use an ePass2003 token to download DSC.
