Which type of DSC should one buy?

What is validity period of DSC?
Currently Digital Signatures can be issued up to 3 years validity. A used can choose from 1year, 2year and 3year validity during order placement. The DSC will remain active till the end of validity period from the date of download.
Can we renew DSC after end of validity?
Yes, DSC can be renewed after end of validity period. As per the prevailing rule and regulation, additional KYC may be required. Applicant should fulfil legal requirements and renew their DSC without any problem.
How to buy DSC in paper-less mode?
In paper-less DSC verification, no physical document is required. Applicant simply upload his scan copies and complete document verification. What is DSC KYC requirements?
DSC KYC is a verification of applicant’s consent to DSC procurement. To reduce misuse of DSC and to ensure proper identification, CCA has mentioned KYC verification process. The applicant need to provide required documents and verify his mobile & email id. After that a video verification is required. If all these get passed, then his KYC verification will be completed.

1-He can preview his own recording to ensure that his voice is audible and his face clearly visible in the video. If everything is perfect, he/she can submit it for final approval
2-If there is any deficiency, he/she can choose re-record option and start fresh video.
